Inorganic binding agents based on the siloxy-sial groups

Description: The study was focused on the hydrolytic splitting of kaolinitic aluminium-silicates and their following polymerization and setting through sol-gel reactions in aqueous alkali solutions. The setting proceeds at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. Resulting solids show the possibility as an alternative building and restoration materials.
