Chateau Křtiny is a hotel, restaurant and conference facility of Mendel University about 15 km NE from Brno. It is located in a close vicinity of the Church of the Name of the Virgin Mary designed by the famous architect Jan Santini Aichel as an iconic masterpiece of so-called radical Baroque of Bohemia and Moravia. Ryanair operates two direct flights from Milano and London to Brno, the city also has a very good connection to the international airports in Prague and Vienna by several bus and railway companies. Upon the request, we may organize a shuttle bus from Brno to the conference venue.

Full conference fee includes abstract book, coffee breaks, ice-breaker party, conference bag and excursion costs (travelling, field trip guide, hotel accommodation at the fieldtrip including breakfasts and lunches).
Accommodation
Accommodation during the conference in Křtiny should be managed individually by the participants. Accommodation is possible either in the conference venue (https://www.zamek-krtiny.cz) or in nearby hotels in the Moravian Karst or Brno.
Accommodation during the excursion will be arranged by the organizers.
Presentations
Talks in PPT format should not be longer than 15+5 minutes. The presentation room is fully equipped for multimedia presentations; participants with special needs should announce that in advance.
Posters should be portrait in A0 format.
Abstracts
Abstract to a presentation should be 1 page A4 maximum with heading: Title, Authors Names, Institutions and E-mail contact. It should be submitted to e-mail address: slopetecto2024@irsm.cas.cz until 31 May 2024

A book of abstracts will be edited electronically. Beside that, a hardcopy of abstracts and field trip guide will be edited.
